News 19 March 2019 The Deputy
Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester, Shauna Dixon, gives us a cheque toward
the cost of refurbishing our existing side hall to create our new food co-operative.
8 March 2019 Our
youth club opens under new management. We open earlier than previously, at
5:30 pm. The youth club is run by staff from the Mahdlo
centre.
4 February 2019 Today
we re-start our Community Café in the Main Hall of our Community Centre.
17 November 2018 Today
we completed the creation of our new meeting room which will accommodate
crèche, training, counselling, ESOL, and other small-to-medium groups.
19 September 2018 Today
we start the next pilot of our new food co-operative. We are inviting new
members. The next phase will start early in 2019.
14 September 2018
The new
toilet block is complete.
25 August 2018
The
flooring is complete, and all the electrical work is done.
20 August 2018 We’re
closing the Community Cafe for a month to accommodate the building of our new
food store.
20 July 2018
The
cubicles are taking shape. The entrance between the Church and toilet block
is complete.
29 June 2018
Today
we started converting the area behind the stage to become a new toilet block.
22 March 2018 Our
Breakfast Club appears on the BBC’s North West at Night and the BBC website.
